Egypt launches raids, killing two terrorists in Giza with the Muslim Brotherhood
Terrorists belong to the HASM movement with the Muslim Brotherhood, and they are considered terrorist organizations by both the United States and the United Kingdom.
The Ministry announced on Sunday that officers from the Egyptian Interior Ministry conducted a raid on Muslim Brotherhood terrorists in Giza, resulting in a gunfight in which two terrorists were killed in the death of a civilian and injured a policeman.
The ministry added that the police were injured after terrorists “ignorantly fired” after they succumbed to wounds due to wounds from homeless bullets during the shooting.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, terrorists belong to the Hasm movement.
Hasm is named after the abbreviation of Hakarat Sawa’d Misr (weapons of the Egyptian movement).

The group was formally established in 2016 and was banned by the UK as a terrorist organization in December 2017, and was designated by the United States as a “specially designated global terrorist” entity in January 2018. It is worth noting that their logo consists of a rifle that exceeds the Arabic letters spelling, indicating their extremist intentions.

However, the terrorists in the Hasm movement were linked to terrorist attacks against Egyptian officials, including a car bomb that killed prosecutor Hisham Barakat in June 2015.
From 2016 to 2019, terrorist organizations most actively carried out terrorist attacks on Egyptian security personnel and civilians, but have since been mostly inactive in the country.
Has Türkiye played a role in supporting Muslim Brotherhood terrorists?
Egypt’s interior ministry claims Türkiye’s “leaders of Hasm movement” are preparing and planning to “resum its activities and conduct hostilities against security and economic institutions.”
