Italy’s heroic police hound died after eating food with nails – Country

The horror killer who killed Italian police hounds sparked a criminal investigation after the dog was found dead in his shed on July 4 in Taranto.

The dog, Arcangelo Caressa, said the dog, Bruno, a seven-year-old 195-pound hunting dog, was fed a piece of dog food with nails on it and suspected that the killing was avenge on him, not the dog.

“Creating a dog’s pain is a horrible act, because feeding a nail into his nail means tearing his heart, tearing his esophagus and internal organs, and causing incredible pain,” Cathersa told Bruno, who helped nine people during his sniffer rescue career.

“I passed away with you today… You fought for your life to help humanity, and it was humanity that did it for you,” Caressa wrote in a Facebook post announcing Bruno’s death.

“When your relative needs Bruno, he won’t be there. I thank the prosecutor’s office and the police force for working together to find someone responsible for this outrageous crime,” Caressa added.

Caressa said he told prosecutors he suspected he was the ultimate target of the Bruno killer and Bruno was killed “go to find me.”

Caressa runs Endas, a public animal rescue organization for volunteers, which, among other things, rescues dogs from illegal melee. He said the service was once run by a for-profit company and said he suspected his competitor was behind Bruno’s killing.

“In recent months, we have been threatened, persecuted, slandered and slandered from some of the people who have been investigated and are recognized by the judicial authorities who have been working to take over this rescue service in a despicable way,” Caressa told The Outlet.

Caressa said Bruno was a “giant” and when he went out to search, “you put on the harness and no one else was like him.”

“He would set out and smell the people we were looking for, running like a train until we found them,” Caressa added.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said Bruno’s massacre was “despicable, timid, unacceptable”.

“Thank you for everything you did, Bruno,” she added, sharing a photo with the dog after one of his rescues.

Longtime animal rights activist Congressman Michael Vittoria Brambilla has filed criminal proceedings with prosecutors under a new law, and she has helped impose severe penalties on anyone who kills or abuses animals.

“Make sure that those responsible for the death of dogs are brought to justice and responded under the new rules of #Brambillalaw, which serves those who use services to kill animals or deliberately extend their suffering for up to four years and €66,000,” she wrote on Facebook.

“It may be that the person who committed this negligence did this not for blind cruelty, but for exact purposes, as Bruno helped confiscate dogs used in combat.

“For greater reasons… the culprit must be identified and the punishment provided by Blambirah law should be adopted.

“We owe it to this noble animal, the victim of an evil and unscathed hand.”

The new animal protection law, known as Brambilla Law, came into effect on July 1, is imprisoned for up to four years and fined 60,000-Euro (approximately $97,000), imposes the most severe punishment if abuse is performed in front of children or filmed and scattered online.

In the second post on July 6, Caressa wrote: “Hi Bru, this is your human brother talking to you. I’m sure you’re still with me, even if I can never caress you again as I used to be every day.”

He continued: “All we have to do these days is talk about you, I’m sure, from where you look at everything.”

“Maybe flashes between the stars, or you’re looking at us silently, those good eyes that don’t need words.”

Caressa said he was “so proud” of Bruno, “because you are to me and all the people you bring, hope, hope, redemption.”

“You are more than just a dog. You are my loyal shadow, the power of the dark times.” “You are, you are, and will always be my hero.”

“I will definitely give you justice. Because you deserve truth, respect, memory,” Caressa added. “Save life-to-never, you live now in the heart of your leading home.”
