Peak Design’s iPhone tripod is a solid, well-designed aluminum frame that folds it into a credit card-sized shape. You are paying a premium for architectural design and quality, and even a small hex key built into the legs of the tripod if needed.
With the solid microsphere head, you can adjust the angle of your iPhone in tripod mode. Even better, it can be magnetically fixed to the phone in both vertical and horizontal directions. Even if you don’t try to take videos or photos, this makes it a great stance for your phone.
You also don’t need to have a peak design case to make sure it works, although it does connect more firmly if you do. Any MagSafe iPhone will be locked to the periphery, whether used or folded, keeping a firm fixation on this mobile tripod.
There are plenty of affordable Magsafe phone racks, such as Moft’s snapshot stands and wallets that can support your iPhone in terms of holding some credit cards, Anker’s Maggo phone grips, and now-caused pop music. While MagSafe accessories like this are handy, they won’t be as sturdy as the security on a smartphone or smartphone box. If I exert enough force, all the Magsafe stalls, wallets, chargers and other accessories I’ve tried end up falling off.
