The president publicly destroyed her”

Kaitlan Collins of CNN has been asking if it was a drama to return to Trump’s good grace with National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Days after Gabbard accused former President Barack Obama and other officials of “making intelligence” have been made, Collins fired her in the White House news room, suggesting Russia is trying to influence the outcome of the 2016 election. CNN reporters asked the intelligence director if they made these claims to improve her status with Trump.

“You cited past intelligence reports and assessments, including as Ed pointed out in 2017, every Republican in the Senate intelligence community (including then acting chairman) is now Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who said in a statement that they found no evidence of Russian collusion, but they found evidence that they were troublesome, and they found evidence of uss,” he said.

She continued: “Secondly, what do you say to people who think you are only publishing these documents right now to improve your status with the president because he said your intelligence assessment was wrong?”

Gabbard tried to correct the way Collins constituted her problem rather than answering a more shocking second statement.

“I want to correct what you said, because the Senate Intelligence Committee reports are one after another,” Gabbard said. “I think you are talking about the intelligence community. The functions of the Senate Intelligence Committee are very different from those of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The evidence and intelligence that has been decrypted and released are incomprehensible.”

She then handed the microphone to Levitt, who “says she will release this to improve her position with the president?”

Collins retorted: “Well, the president publicly destroyed her when he came to Iran.” “He said she was wrong. He told me she didn’t know what she was talking about. It was on the Air Force in front of the camera.”

Levitt dismissed Collins’ evidence and said she had a better idea of Trump’s thoughts because she was with him.

“I’m with the President of the United States every day,” she said. “He has the greatest confidence in director Gabbard. He has always had it. He continues to do it, and it’s true for his entire cabinet, and he’s all a team to deliver on the promises the president made.”
