The report revealed that Hamas systematically carried out extensive weaponized sexual violence on October 7.

The report, to be released by the “Dinah Project” later this week, further proves that Hamas used sexual violence as a weapon against the Israelis during the October 7 massacre.

A new report, Hamas’ most comprehensive report to date, will be published on October 7 by Hamas in the “Dinah Project” led by Professor Ruth-Halperin Kadari of Bar-Illan University this week.

It provides extensive evidence that Hamas had systematic and extensive use of sexual violence as a weapon in the October 7 murder terrorist attack. The report relies on new testimony from hostages returned from Gaza, sexual violence, witnesses, mental health professionals and victims of rescue workers.

According to the investigation report released on Sunday Sunday Timesthese findings are disturbing. These include the bodies of young women in naked or half-clothed clothes, found tied to trees or poles. Some of these women were shot in close organs and in some cases were raped by gangs before being murdered. Witnesses, including survivors hiding in the bushes, described cases of attempted rape even after death.

The report identified six main locations for serious sexual offences: Nova Festival, Highway 232, the Nahal Oz base and three Kibbutzim-Kfar Aza, Re’im and Nir Oz. The researchers point to clear patterns between these sites, indicating systematic and premeditated actions.

The reporter captured images of Amit Soussana, the released hostage, kidnapped in the deadly attack of the deadly Islamic group Hamas on January 29, 2024, Kibbutz Kfar Aza in Israel.

Some of the testimony came from 15 hostages held in Hamas, Gaza, including those who were sexually assaulted during their imprisonment. So far, only one of them has been published by Amit Soussana.

Other survivors described the threat of forced exposure, sexual assault, harassment and forced marriage. “Sexual violence does not have to be raped – naked, bathing in front of the kidnapper, and a clear threat is also part of it,” said Sharon Zaggi-Pinhas, a lawyer for the former chief military prosecutor.

The report is in response to deep disappointment in the response of the international community, particularly from organizations from UN women, which avoid condemning findings published in a global media survey a few months ago.

International groups do not apply to Israel’s “believe victims”

The researchers noted that in this case, the international standard of “believe victims” does not apply. “Women around the world choose to remain silent, which is a serious moral failure,” said Halperin-Kadari.

The report aims to establish a new legal framework to deal with large-scale atrocities in which most victims are no longer alive and cannot identify specific perpetrators. “It needs to be proven who hurts who doesn’t matter who is here,” stressed retired judge Ben-Or. “The fact that sexual violence is an integral part of the Holocaust requires the world to see it as Hamas’ collective responsibility.”

The initiative, funded in part by the British government, was named after the biblical character Dinah, Jacob’s only daughter whose rape story appears in Genesis but has never been heard. Like Dinah, most of the victims on October 7 remained without voice – because they were murdered or still had difficulty talking about their traumatic experiences. Its creators say the goal of the initiative is to “speak to those who can’t.”

The disturbing discovery was the testimony of dozens of gang rapes, where women found naked and tied to trees, shaved hostages, and the victim spent months giving testimony from the deep trauma they suffered.

The report calls on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to send independent investigation missions and include Hamas along with organizations like ISIS and Boko Haram, as well as groups that use sexual violence as weapons. “What happened here was not accidental,” Zaggi-Pinhas concluded. “It was a planned strategy that the world could not turn a blind eye.”
