The Philippine Senate summoned an impeachment court on Tuesday to face a lifelong political ban if convicted of high-criminals and betray public trust after Senator swore a juror to try Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio.
The trial could not only be made or broken by Ms. Duterte, but also a critical moment in Philippine politics could be against President Ferdinand R. Marcos.
