It’s been a solid second half of the season for Norrie, who started the season with first-round losses in six of his first 10 games.
Nouri turned his season around on clay by reaching the Geneva semifinals before bowing out to Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. Nouri defeated Alcaraz at the Rolex Paris Masters last month before ending his 2025 season by reaching the Metz final, losing to American Tian in a third-set tiebreaker.
A surge in the second half of the season has lifted Norrie back up to No. 27 in the rankings, giving him a chance to move up the rankings by playing in the Australian Open after losing to Matteo Berrettini in the first round in Melbourne in 2025.
