The tea data leak reportedly included images and DM last week

Last week, social network tea experienced a way to expose personal information to users. Women’s dating security app said at the time: “There is no evidence that current or other user data is affected.” However, 404 Media Reporting the problem is bigger than what was originally stated. The website attributed to independent security researchers who found the platform’s content was related to last week.

Additionally, the source claims that damaged information can allow hackers to view messages between tea households. DMS may include other sensitive information such as personal phone numbers, discussions about cheating, and gaining experience in abortion. 404 Media It claims this is the second leak of personal information on TEA, separate from the database published on 4chan last week.

Tea safety issues arise during the pandemic. The app allows women to share personal stories about their dating experiences anonymously, with the aim of letting others know if the men they meet may risk personal safety, engage in catfish or are already in a relationship.

We have contacted TEA to confirm whether this is the second violation or part of a previously reported leaked data.
