Trump Putin Alaska Conference News: U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that he held a “very productive meeting” with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin after a discussion with him in Alaska. “We had a very productive meeting; we had a lot of perspectives… (a) a big meeting we haven’t had quite yet, but we made some progress… until the deal was reached, so I didn’t reach an agreement, so I would call NATO in a short time, and I would call Trump to Trump who was with Trump after Putin was over.”

No mention of any leader’s ceasefire in Russia-Ukraine.

The global market eagerly awaits the meeting, with any signs of a ceasefire in the ongoing European war in the fourth year since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned…

“Of course, I’ll call President Zelenskyy and tell him about the meeting today…we’re making a huge progress today,” Trump said.

Earlier this year, Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for a public meeting at the White House, which had no results.

The meeting was originally intended to discuss the Russian invasion and finalize the ongoing support of the Ukrainian Mineral Resources Agreement, but it ended abruptly after Trump and Vice President JD Vance repeatedly criticized Zelenskyy in his final televised speech.

The announcement is quick? Or not…

“We may be talking to you soon and hope to see you again soon,” the U.S. president said.

The meeting lasted nearly three hours.

No deal until a deal is reached: Trump meets Putin

The U.S. president said no deal was reached after the meeting and no details were explained.

The two leaders left the stage after being vague about the meeting and did not answer questions.

Earlier, Trump shook hands with Putin after the two leaders arrived in Anchorage, Alaska.

After shaking hands, the two leaders stayed in the same car together.

No sign of a ceasefire

Neither Trump nor Putin hint at the possibility of a ceasefire in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.
