Samsung’s next foldable will be Ultra

Samsung is improving its foldable games.
The company announced the “Next Chapter of Ultra” in a somewhat vague press release on Wednesday, which apparently means that the Samsung Galaxy’s Ultra is folding. Or is it the Samsung Galaxy z fold super? We are not sure.

The company says its customers demand “beyond a simple list of upgrade features, in smaller, more portable form factor.” The press release continues to describe a foldable phone with a “powerful camera” and (of course) “seamless AI integration” without the need to go into details.

So, what do we really know? Well, Samsung may launch a foldable Galaxy Ultra phone this summer in July. Judging from the trailer video, it will be a large, vertically foldable device, so consider the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. It’s unclear whether the Ultra Moniker simply means it will be a more powerful Galaxy Z fold, or the phone is different from Samsung’s other ways.
Thanks to rumors, we do know something about Samsung’s upcoming foldables. A recent report said it will be very thin and folded by only 8.2 mm. We also heard it will have a 200 megapixel main camera, a new playback camera and a 4,400mAh battery.
