“Is she a registered Republican?” Trump responded to reporters’ questions about his thoughts on her political affiliation. “Oh, now I love her ad.”

The president added: “You would be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That’s what I don’t know, but I’m glad you told me. If Sydney Sweeney was a registered Republican, I think her ad was great.”

The voter registration of the “Euphoria” actress surfaced as she faced the controversial American Eagle Jeans movement. She has been registering with the Florida Republican Party in Monroe County since June 2024.
