Exclusive: House Homeland Security Committee lawmakers met with stakeholders and law enforcement to address the rise of anti-Semitism violence in the United States, Fox News Digital learned during the closed congressional roundtable on July 22.

The roundtable is a growing concern over the recent months of anti-Semitic violence in Boulder, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., while growing fears surrounding the potential elections of Zohran Mamdani, who champions the mayor of New York City’s anti-Israel views.

“Jewish communities all over the country live in fear and I am committed to standing with them. This roundtable is at a critical moment: a left-wing activist who defends the word “globalization” in a sentence that defends “globalization”, closer to leading a city into one of the largest Jews in the world, with numerous Jewish remarks, and the Representatives announced the “Announcement Committee of Ruler Officials”. “Anti-Semitism and anti-Israel rhetoric are becoming dangerous mainstream. We must now take action to expose and fight this evil hatred,” Pfluger said.

According to aides to the House Homeland Security Committee, the roundtable focuses on improving inter-agency coordination, intelligence sharing, training and law enforcement to better prevent and respond to anti-Semitic violence.

In particular, in particular, the meeting involved a way to establish communication between the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI and between state and local law enforcement, and the group’s CEO Michael Masters said Michael Masters, the community network’s CEO, is a nonprofit dedicated to the security of Jewish communities in North America.

According to Masters, this inter-agency coordination is absolutely crucial, as the secure community network has marked 500 credible threats to life this year – all of which require immediate law enforcement intervention.

“Bad people don’t respect orders. Bad actors don’t respect jurisdiction, which means our intelligence won’t be isolated,” Masters told Fox News numbers on Monday.

Furthermore, the roundtable discussion highlights how extremist rhetoric spreads, especially on university campuses and through social media. Since the Israel-Hamas War broke out in October 2023, student protests broke out on American college campuses, including Columbia University in New York.

Similarly, those attending the roundtable addressed the prevalence of extremism with local and foreign influences when one participant emphasized the situation where anti-Israel terrorist groups had spread toolkits and conversation points designed to facilitate U.S. attacks.

The committee aides said the discussion was expected to inform the legislative priorities around strengthening official training, improving data collection and ensuring a “strong prosecution” of anti-Semitic crimes.

Those attending the roundtable include representatives from the Security Community Network; the Anti-Defamation League is an organization dedicated to preventing Jewish defamation; the Department of Homeland Security’s Intelligence and Analysis Office; and law enforcement officers.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, anti-Semitic violence hit a new climax in 2024.

The team recorded 9,354 anti-Semitic, harassment, attacks and vandalism in the United States in 2024 – a 5% increase from the 8,873 incidents recorded in 2023 and a 344% increase over the past five years. Similarly, the number of incidents was the highest recorded by the group since 1979, when the group began tracking these cases for the first time.

In 2024, anti-Semitic violence is the highest in New York State, and Mandanny is currently a state legislator.

Mamdani initially failed to condemn the term “globalization uprising”, a censorship of the phrase used to support Palestinian resistance against Israel, including those from the Democratic Party. However, he has since stated that he will not use the term and will also prevent others from using it.

Still, there is concern about what he means as mayor to the Jewish community in New York City. According to UJA-FEDERATION, approximately 1.4 million people are identified as Jewish in the New York area.

“If this person becomes mayor, there will be a lot of fear in the Jewish community,” New York City Republican Councilman Inna Vernikov told Fox News Digital.

“This is a man who wants to revolt globally,” Vernikov said. “In New York City, we have never seen anything close to it. We have the largest Jewish population in the United States, and I will tell you that the Jews told me they were going to flee New York City, and the Jews have made a great contribution to the city and the country, and they are now afraid of the idea of living here–it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, it is never foreseeable, it is never happened.”
