Toyota Google Racing Philippines Cup in 2025

The third and final weekend will be held on August 9 at Clark International Speedway

Toyota Philippines Racing Cup (TGR Philippines Cup), Toyota Philippines (TMP) Prime Racing Series, will return to the Clark International Racing Circuit in Panpangamabalakat on August 9 for the third and final race of 2025.

The event is open to everyone and tickets are free. It will also be live streamed on the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Toyota Team Cebu’s Russel Cabrera is the leader in super sports classes Standard insurance, followed by General Santos of Toyota Smart Communications Racing and Michael Bryan Co of R Garage/Toyota Dagupan Group.

In sports class, Jesse Garcia of Obengers racing Toyota Balintawak leads, Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines’ Russel Reyes and R Racing’s Raymond Cudala Madcart followed.

Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Luis Moreno Meanwhile, the novice team leads the first place at the novice level, with teammate Pablo Salapantan and TMP president Masando Hashimoto ranked second and third respectively.

Exciting matches and tracking activities

The racers will have two sprint races over the weekend. The endurance race is a 1.5-hour tour that will also make a comeback, allowing racers and cars to test to see who will push their limits to improve.

The Tamaraw Sprint Competition Exhibition debuted in the competition, an exciting showdown for Tamaraw One-Make-Race Cars (OMR), after being introduced to the Tamaraw Racing Concept during Game 2 in Villar City. Driving Tamaraws will be former VIOS Cup Super Sports champion Allan UY (2016), Daniel Miranda (2017), Estefano Rivera (2021) and John Dizon (2023) and former VIOS OMR test driver Tyson Sy.

The next generation Tamaraw will also be shown in the exhibition racing race to further test its ability as a racing car.

The club competition is a 5-lap tour for owners of GR Yaris, GR Supra and GR 86; the drifting exhibition will also be played on track, bringing more excitement and fun to the audience and drivers.

Exciting activities for everyone

The fun extends to the event area where freebies and prizes will be snapped up at sponsors’ booths and game booths.

For those who want to test their skills on virtual tracks, there will also be SIM racing gear. As a trailer for the upcoming E-Motorsports competition in August, Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Epports GT Championship 2025, TMP will also hold qualifiers for interested Sim Racers. Participation is free.

Fans can also enjoy car displays of Toyota GR and GR-S lineups as well as various Toyota Motor Club vehicles. Original GR merchandise, including shirts, hats and umbrellas, will also be for sale.

Local pop and alternative rock bands in October will take the stage to attract crowds with hits. An award ceremony will be held to recognize and celebrate the winners of the contest Weekend 3.
