When shooting Predator: The Wastelanddirector Dan Trachtenberg and his team called it with the code name: “Backpack”. The origin of the name becomes very clear, soon in the movie’s brand new action trailer, which includes Elle Fanning as Weyland-Yutani Android, on the back of the Predator.

Obviously, a lot of things happened to this trailer. So many myths. So much teasing. For example, that certainly looks like it is from alien At the end of the trailer. Isn’t Ripley the first to do this? Or, if this happens later, maybe it is a creature inspired by her behavior?
Plus, it seems Fanning’s Android is almost like the game administrator on this planet. Who runs this planet? Where does it come from? What is this apex predator she is talking about? What is this relationship like with the Predator (who is the prey of course), now walking around with this humanoid Android? How will this friendship affect all sci-fi actions?
We don’t know this yet, but hopefully we’ll be late this week Predator: The Wasteland Come to San Diego Comics Exhibition. But, for the moment, this trailer is just an explosion of excitement and mystery that we can’t wait.
The film will be released on November 7th.
