Trump uses Fox News's Jeanine Pirro as DC's interim US attorney

President Donald Trump hires “Five” co-host Jeanine Pirro as interim lawyer for Washington, D.C.

“I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Piro will be appointed as a temporary attorney for the District of Columbia,” Trump wrote on Thursday's social media platform Truth Social. “Jeanine is very qualified in this position and is considered one of the top local attorneys in New York State's history. She is in class herself. Congratulations to Jeanine!”

Pirro leaves Fox News Channel, and the rotation of Fox News characters will fill her seat on the “Five” until the new co-host is named.

“Jeanine Pirro has been a wonderful addition to the five fives over the past three years, and at Fox News, the long-time beloved host has contributed greatly to our success throughout the 14-year tenure. We wish her all the best in her new role in Washington.”

Pirro served as an assistant district attorney and district attorney in Westchester County, New York, and became the first woman to be judged in Westchester County Court.

She joined Fox News in 2006 and hosted Justice with Judge Jenny before joining The Five, the most watched show on cable news.

Trump also announced the truth society, and Ed Martin, who was formerly a interim lawyer at the US District, will move to the Justice Department to serve as the Director of the Weaponization Working Group, Deputy Attorney General and Palton Lawyer.

“In these very important roles, Ed will ensure that we will ultimately investigate the weaponization of the administration under the Biden regime and provide much-needed justice to its victims. Congratulations to Ed!” Trump wrote.
