Trump’s convoy got Macron stuck in New York Street. Netizens dubbing its peak moment of 2025

French President Emmanuel Macron faced an unusual and embarrassing moment Monday night after leaving his UN headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.
When Macron’s cavalry sailed to the French Embassy on Fifth Street in the New York Police Department (NYPD), forcing it to stop due to the road closure. The holding has nothing to do with the protests, but it is reportedly because the convoy of U.S. President Donald Trump is passing.
Apparently, the incident happened after Macron delivered a UN speech, where he announced that France officially recognized the Palestinian state.

Although the distance between the United Nations headquarters and the French Embassy is only one mile away, the French president must wait in the street. A New York Police Department officer approached him and apologized: “I’m sorry, Mr. President. Now everything is frozen–a convoy is coming now.”
In the video of the status quo circulating on social media, he can be seen walking out of the car and asking the police what happened.

Everything is frozen for you: Macron tells Trump
There was once a diplomat with a sense of humor, Macron quickly called Trump: “How are you? Guess what, I’m waiting in the street now because everything is frozen.” He even joked, urging Trump to “clean the road.”
“I hope this weekend talks with Qatar and you about the situation in Gaza,” the French president mentioned in a phone call with his fellow Americans. The results of the exchange are not clear, but the lockdown lasted for several minutes before pedestrian traffic was allowed.
In recent memory, New Yorkers have seen Macron walking on the street for the first time without serious safety. Along the way, he stopped to take pictures, posing for photos, and even allowed a passerby to plant a kiss on his forehead.
This unusual encounter soon spread on social media, and Internet people had a wild day.
This is the reaction of netizens:
One user wrote on X: “Macron fell into Trump’s traffic, which is the crossover peak of 2025. Another commented: “Macron fell into Trump’s traffic, which is a crossover incident in 2025 that no one asked for.” World leaders are reduced to tweets like the rest of us. ”
“Then I told him to walk”
One user shared the laughter of President Trump and Vice President JD Vance and wrote: “I told him to walk.”
Another observed: “Macron stood and watched while Trump was walking. Macron listened when Trump spoke.” One user even suggested: “Macron better admits. Money talks, nonsense.”
