We may still be two days away from the start of on-court action at the Nitto ATP Finals, but the singles stars competing in the 2025 final of this prestigious season are already causing quite a stir in Turin.
Six players from the eight-man group that has arrived in Italy – Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur – traveled to Turin’s historic Piazza della Castello on Friday to meet thousands of fans on the Nitto ATP Finals blue carpet.

The city of Turin has been hosting the Nitto ATP Finals since 2021, and the people of Turin have become accustomed to seeing some of the best players on the ATP Tour up close. However, the excitement ahead of this year’s tournament is palpable, especially since home favorite Sinner will enter the tournament as the top seed and defending champion. The Italian is also competing with Alcaraz for the ATP year-end No. 1 ranking awarded by the PIF.
After posing for official photos on the blue carpet, the players then headed to the Teatro Regio for a “Meet the Champions” Q&A session and to address local and international media.
Novak Djokovic, a record seven-time Nitto ATP Finals champion, will also be in Turin when court action begins at the Inalpi Arena on Sunday. The Serbian will face Lorenzo Musetti in the ATP 250 final in Athens on Saturday: if Musetti wins, he will join compatriot Sinner in the eight-man squad. If Djokovic wins in Greece, Felix Auger-Aliassime will take the final spot.
