Ukraine and Russia strike houses and oil warehouses near the Black Sea

Local officials say Russia’s missile strikes have destroyed houses and civilian infrastructure in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv.
It is reported that at least three civilians were injured in cities near the Black Sea and repeated shelling by Russian troops. Ukraine’s state emergency services posted photos of firefighters on the scene after the missile strike.
Earlier Sunday, Russian authorities accused a massive oil warehouse fire near the Black Sea resort of Russia during a Ukrainian drone attack. Sochi Airport in the same area – Adler Region – flights are suspended.
Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said in a telegram that drone debris hit a fuel tank while 127 firefighters were addressing the fire.
The drone attack was one of several attacks launched by Ukraine over the weekend, targeting insert facilities in Riza, Penza and Voronitz in southern Russia. Voronezh’s governor said four people were injured in a drone strike.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for stronger international sanctions on Russia this week after a fatal attack on Kyiv on Thursday, killing at least 31 people.
Ukrainian officials said the attack was one of the deadliest attacks in the capital since the full invasion was launched in February 2022, and the attack was one of the deadliest in the capital.
