Fort Worth police said a man in Fort Worth is now detained by police after he was killed after beating his mother in an attempt to “exorcism.”

The warrant affidavit says Fort Worth police responded to an anonymous caller's 911 call. According to Fox 4 in the affidavit, the callers claimed they received a photo on Snapchat in which a woman was covered in red on the ground, possibly in blood.

The caller gave the address of the person in charge of the photo, and when police arrived there, 23-year-old Alexander Taylor Valdez answered the door holding the Bible.
