United Foreign Chamber of Commerce presents Arangkada Lifetime Achievement Award to former secretary Rene Almendras at the 2025 Arancada Philippines Investment Forum

The United Foreign Office of the Philippines (JFC) will present the Arangkada Lifetime Achievement Award to former secretary Rene Almendras at the Arancada Philippines Investment Forum held at the Marriott Ballroom in Pasai City from September 25 to 26, 2025. This 14Th The annual senior forum will convene 500 top leaders from the government, business, civil society, academia and the media to promote deeper investment and economic growth in the Philippines. The award speech is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. on September 25, and will be followed by a speech by Rene Almendras.
The annual Arangkada Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a person who has been in the public, private and/or nonprofit sector for at least 25 years, promoting significant and lasting improvements in the conditions and environment of Philippine business. Through this award, the Kennedy International Agency (JFC) thanks Rene Almendras for his extensive experience in the private and public sectors, including the Minister of Energy, Cabinet Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the Philippine Management Association, the Philippine Management Association (MAP), the Private Sector Representative, Representative Legislation-Continuous Development Advisory Committee (LEDAC), in various Leadership Councils (LEDAC), in various Leadership Councils, and in the YARIB Group, ABO and Cita and Abo. He has received several awards and recognitions, including the order of Lakandula, the Golden Cross Lawyer Level, the Presidential Award and the highest honors awarded by the Republic of the Philippines for civilians.
Mr. Almendras said in his acceptance of the award:
“I think it is a unique privilege and honor to be recognized by the common foreign office of this Lifetime Achievement Award.
