Video: Watch How Intuit Dome Transforms to Intuit Beach

AVP is the largest and longest professional volleyball league, hosting its first beach volleyball game at the NBA Arena last weekend.
The staff’s mission was held at Intuit Dome, which was to bring 300 tons of sand from a quarry in Palm Springs, with a load of about 16 trucks. AVPs are looking for creative ways to attract new audiences of the sport, often hosting their large volleyball games in unconventional locations.

A wooden sandbox was built to contain pre-washed sand and formed a court.
The crew spent about 150 people making changes in a typical event at Intuit Dome five hours after the event, and the next day prepared an arena for the Clippers’ season conductor.
