Vietnamese tourist boats tilted during the storm, killing more than 30 people

As many as 34 people were killed, a boat carrying tourists suddenly tilted during a sightseeing tour on Saturday afternoon, killing as many as 34 people.
The wonderful sea boat is reportedly carrying 48 passengers and 5 crew members – all Vietnamese – a popular destination for tourists during the Ha Long Bay tour.
The number of rescues reported varies as the day occurs, but the latest figures recently published on local export vnexpress say 11 have been rescued.
The newspaper said that due to the strong wind, the ship was upside down. A 14-year-old boy was a survivor who was rescued after being trapped in a capsized hull for four hours.
The newspaper said most of the passengers were tourists from the Hanoi capital, including about 20 children.
Tropical storms are also heading towards the area. National weather forecast says Wipha is expected to hit northern Vietnam next week, including the Ha Long Bay coast.
