Cadillac Optiq 2025 Review: Price, Specifications, Availability

Cadillac said in response: “Optiq has the smallest algorithm [travel] time. The remaining usage calculations are based on vehicle models using traffic patterns and elevation changes along the route. The fluctuations may come from changes in traffic patterns, winds, and driver behavior. ”

Of course, for some, it’s a deal-breaker with no mobile phone mirroring, so Apple Carplay and Android Auto are completely non-existent (because they’re in Tesla, Rivian and Lucid). Instead, the driver enters its username and password into the application in the dashboard screen, and the car provides connectivity on its cellular connection. Three years.

After that, owners must pay $15 per month to continue “app access”…or restore to their phone without safely mirroring it onto the cash display. During their own 36-month trial, Super Cruise is $25 per month. It’s part of the financial world that automakers promise billions of dollars in annual “digital service revenue”. Buyers are the losers here; now they have to pay for free features once a month.

Oh, backend

It’s the smallest and shortest Cadillac, and while I found two-thirds of the fines in front and back, the back end was messy at best. On the weird pattern of short rear overhangs, branded vertical rear lights and the horizontal lines on the third side windows are insufficient, there is a kick belt line. Cadillac’s larger SUV and Celestiq Ultra-luxury sedan do better and more coherently in the same design language.

The belt line is high, and only the glass roof can stop claustrophobia from feeling inside. But, what interior. It’s cute, with fabrics with woven fabrics, some mild bright blue accents from the fabrics I drove, and a handful of sustainable materials: yarn made from 100% recycled materials, which woven into patterned accent fabrics, and “Paperwood” veneers from tulip wood and recycled newspapers.

It’s also one of the quietest cars I’ve ever driven. Passengers are seen as calm, smooth, pleasant and totally nice experience. This makes it easy to cover mileage, especially with Blue Cruise manual adaptive cruise control.

The interior of the four is spacious, and while it may be a “compact” SUV from North America, three can ride in the rear seats without hating each other. Like all GMs under a big truck, there is no front torso. That was a missed bet. It also lacks a rear wiper; Cadillac claims that airflow passes through its “rear flow spoiler channel high-speed air” to keep the rear windows clean. The hasty spring rainstorms in upstate New York beg for different. Cadillac also recommends using video rearview mirrors as an alternative to the glass you can actually see.

Waiting for the hot rod?

The acceleration of Optiq can best be described as intentional. It’s not slow, and if any Cadillac driver uses it, the “Sports” mode is more powerful. GM has some of the best regenerative braking and a motorcycle driving algorithm, and overall Optiq is easy to drive and fully extends the road. Its weight and dampen smoothly poor roads make potholes shallower.

But this definitely doesn’t offer any rear acceleration that sold many electric vehicles in the early years. This reminds Cadillac of the Optiq-V Hot-Rod model just announced. In the same compact crossover, the power supply increases to the referenced 382h kW (519 hp) and 650 lb-ft (880 nm) of torque. In “Maximum Speed” mode, Cadillac said the Optiq-V will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The estimated range is 275 miles; it will be entered into production this fall.
