All sci-fi, fantasy and horror movies will be on Netflix this summer

While cinemas flourish – all the vampire, chicken jockey and revival hits are in boom times, it’s sometimes easy to stay home and see what’s new on Netflix. Ribbon recently released its summer movie Slate, and we picked up sci-fi, fantasy and horror titles to add to your Watch Calendar.

idea Fear Street Is it just a trilogy? Hopefully you save a dance for this new edition, which is back to 1988's Shadyside High for more mean girls, discomforts and mysterious disappearances. June 20 – KPOP Demon Hunter

Called “animated action comedy,” the Sony Image Animation Project follows the three K-pop superstars, who, despite their fame and presumably busy performance schedules, also hints at the hunter's hunter. Things get complicated when they have to protect their loyal fans from a boy band whose adorable members are actually monsters.

Directors are Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and the voice cast includes Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-Seop, May-Hong, Ji-Young Yoo, Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster and Liza Koshy-Plus Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, Ken Jeong and Byung Hun Lee.

July 2 – Old Defender 2

We almost forgot about this sequel, but the original 2020 work is fun, so we will forgive the long gap between installments. Victoria Mahoney directs the killer actors (Charlize Theron, Henry Golding, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Uma Thurman, etc.) are once again inspired by the Greg Ruka Leka Leonard Fernandez comics. This time, the immortal warrior (except Theron's character, Andy, who is the New Mortal Andy) is still in Protect World Mode, but there are some new complications, including the return of the old enemy and a secret that might crack immortality. In addition, there are many butt-kicking movements.

July 10 – brick

Less flashy than the immortal warrior, but equally interesting: brick (Not the 2005 Rian Johnson Neo-Noir movie) Following a regular couple who wake up one day and finds them, as well as all the neighbors who share the same apartment building, are trapped behind a mysterious wall. The obvious next question: Who put it there, why is there, and there is hope for escape?

August 13 – Fixed

This adult animated comedy from Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter Lab, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Cloning Wars, Original) Following a dog, he decides to spend his last crazy night with his partner, and then he is sterilized. It sounds stupid, and the comedic warm welcome sound seems to satisfy the task: Adam Devine, Idris Elba, Kathryn Hahn, Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett, Michelle Buteau and River Gallo.

Summer TBD – Lost in the stars

Netflix's first Korean-language animated film ever was about astronauts and musicians, even though one musician decided to stay in love, even though one was on Earth and the other was on Mars.

You can read on Tudum about all the movies that will be released on Netflix this summer, including non-genre games.
