Whoscall content checker: Dad is protecting family from trusted allies in online scams

As online scams continue to spread through messaging apps and social media, dads, often seen as protectors of their families, are stepping up to defend what matters most to their family.
“Today’s scams are more deceptive than ever. They can be used as job quotes, fake delivery messages, and even screenshots shared in group chats,” said Mel Migriño, general manager of Philippines Gogolook Philippines. “With the Whoscall content inspector, we provide dad with a quick, reliable way to check whether the message is true or harmful.”
The Whoscall Content Checker is a feature in the Check Core feature in the Whoscall application (global anti-XAC application) designed to help users detect suspicious messages and error messages.
It allows the user to paste suspicious text or a unified resource locator (URL) and upload a suspicious screenshot, then immediately scan it for red flags.
Powered by advanced AI and a trusted scam database, the tool can identify phishing attempts, fake promotions, and misleading news links that are often circulated in home or community chats.
“For many fathers, digital protection is now part of everyday parenting. It’s no longer just locking doors or making house rules. It’s also about staying vigilant online and guiding families that may not seem to be what it seems to be,” Ms Migriño said.
“The Whoscall content checker gives Philippine dads the confidence to step in, ask the right questions, and make smarter choices for their families. As scams continue to evolve, tools like this provide both timely and necessary additional layers of protection.”
June is a celebration that our father attributes to, and Gogolook emphasizes the father’s evolving role – not only a provider and protector in the traditional sense, but a frontline in the digital age.
With simple, accessible tools like Whoscall Content Checker, every dad has the ability to build a safer online world for his favorites.
