Love Island USA’s Cierra supports Nic, Olandria Romance after she quits

After her shocking exit, Love Island United States‘ Cierra Ortega Amazing supportive reaction to her ex-partner Nic Vansteenberghe Find romantic connections Olandria Carthen.
Cierra’s silence broke her on Wednesday, July 9, about the racist controversy that led her to evacuate from her villa in Fiji – but she didn’t stop there. After retrieving his phone, Cierra cleverly called Nic and Olandria and “liked” through Instagram posts by Nic’s loved ones.
Nick’s family has been running their own Instagram while filming Season 7, and he posted his family on his behind-the-scenes photos of Olandria and Olandria, writing: “So it’s written in the stars.”
Considering that she had just closed contact with NIC for a few days before she left the show, Cierra’s positive reaction surprised some fans. Cierra’s sudden appearance was a racist position that surfaced from social media while she was offline in the villa.
After returning to the United States, Cierra issued a statement to dispute responsibility.
“I’m not a victim of this situation,” Cierra said in an Instagram video shared on Wednesday. “When I was in the villa, some posts resurfaced from my past, and I was very naive to use an incredibly offensive and derogatory term. I wanted to start first with addressing anyone I’m not only trying to address — but most importantly — the entire Asian community.

Cierra claims she didn’t know she used slurs in her 2024 post that caused a bounce online, adding: “I didn’t know that the word would suffer as much pain as possible, with the pain it had, or that I’d never used it. When I used it, I had no intention of any discomfort.
She continued: “I just need you to know I’m sorry – but it’s not an apology video. It’s an accountability video. I do want to raise my hands and say I take responsibility for using the word, but I do wish I really didn’t know it was a slander. I don’t know what it means.”
Elsewhere in the video, Cierra talks about Peacock’s decision to pull her away from Season 7.
“The truth is, at that moment, the sentence was learned, the word was removed, and it was a real learning moment for me. Since then, I have done a lot of growth and I have tried my best to educate others who might accidentally hold space for these types of words that might offend their vocabulary,” she continued. “I totally agree with the network’s decision to evacuate me from the villa. I think it’s the punishment I deserve and absolutely punished. ”
Cierra elaborates on her reality show experience in her second statement shared in her Instagram story.
I fully understand that this influence is more important than purpose. I don’t want forgiveness overnight. I just hope to prove in time that on a highly edited reality show I can prove that it is not a mistake, tag or character. ”
She concluded: “My experience in the villa was simply magical. My memories and the people I met were people I always cherish. Although I was heartbroken. My journey had to be shortened, I understand that I knew mistakes, especially mistakes like this. Once again, it had consequences for the Asian community and I regretted my unconscious mistakes, which were my unconscious mistakes and the harms that caused.”
New episode Love Island United States It will be posted on the Peacock every six days (Wednesday). The Season 7 finale is scheduled to air on Sunday, July 13.
