Wisconsin Republicans propose banning marijuana-derived THC

Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin are one of the few remaining states without legal marijuana, and he hopes to ban marijuana-derived THC in the state.

Last week, five Republican state lawmakers proposed closing the so-called “THC vulnerability” and criminalizing popular cannabis-derived products, including THCA Flower.

In Wisconsin, hemp-derived THC products include drinks served from tap drinks in bars and taverns.

The state’s medical marijuana law only allows CBD oil.

This creates a very similar situation to Texas, where cannabis-derived cannabinoid products are estimated to be part of the $5.5 billion market.

It also allows for the “diversity of the dangerous, psychoactive THC series of products in Wisconsin, according to lawmakers.

Councillors said they “changed state laws under state laws to change state laws to ban state laws to prohibit “psychoactive cannabinoids derived from marijuana.”

Bill critics, such as the owner of cannabis store, said the result would be a crime against popular products.

Members of Congress are:

  • State Rep. Lindee Brill of Sheboygan Falls, the chief sponsor of the bill.
  • State Rep. Hubertus Jim Piwowarczyk.
  • State Rep. Chuck Wichgers, Muskego.
  • State Rep. Bob Donovan of Greenfield.
  • Chris Kapenga, a state senator from Derafefield.

Legislators cite “a sharp rise in delta-8 THC poisoning in young children”.

“Psychoactive substances such as marijuana have long-term destructive effects on the brain that is hindering cognitive function,” the statement added.

“It can be disability and change a person’s life.”

According to legislative trackers, hearings for the bill were not arranged.

Many states are tightening marijuana rules after the 2018 Farm Act, which has led to the spread of intoxicating products across the country.

Washington lawmakers are also pushing for language that will infer most cannabis-derived products.

Despite widespread support, efforts to legalize medical marijuana in Wisconsin have failed repeatedly in the context of Republican opposition.
