In an interview with ABC News’ Rachel Scott, Mamdani admitted that he is likely to be a regular target for the president in the future, while urging Trump to look up his platform.
“You know, this is not the first time President Trump has commented on himself, and I encourage him – just like I encourage every New Yorker – to understand my actual policies and make this city affordable.”

“Zohran Mamdani is 100% Communist lunatic, he just won the DEM primary and is becoming mayor. We used to have radical left-handed, but that has become a bit ridiculous.” “He looks terrible, his voice is harsh, he’s not very smart.”
Former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) was considered the leader in the primary, admitting the game after he gained a big enough lead in the obvious Mamdani. Cuomo has not ruled out third-party matches for the November election.
