U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert yells out that her 20-year-old son Tyler faces misdemeanor crimes for child abuse.
According to a report from Denver WestWordTyler, the four sons of a congresswoman, was cited for “criminal negligence” related to the incident involving his son on July 11.
The court summoned by the media state “no death or injury occurred.” Tyler welcomed the child at the age of 17, and he issued a criminal citation at the Windsor Police Department (WPD), about 60 miles outside Denver.
Other details about the situation have not been immediately available, but Republican politician Lauren, 38, told people in a statement: “Taylor has been doing a great job over the past year.
She continued: “Unfortunately, this incident stems from the miscommunication that has been surveillance of my young grandson that has caused him to leave our home recently.”
WPD and WELD County District Attorneys did not immediately respond to people’s distance on Sunday, July 27.

Taylor has faced crime in the past. In February 2024, Tyler, then 18, was arrested on felony charges with a string of property theft and vehicle trespass.
The Colorado Rifle Police Department said at the time that Taylor faced “four counts of felony crime ID files – multiple victims, one felony who committed a felony, and another 15 additional misdemeanors and trivia.”
“I love my son Tyler, who has experienced a very difficult public challenge to a young man and the topic he doesn’t ask for,” Lauren said in a statement to people at the time.
“It makes me so sad to see my child struggling in this situation, especially when he gets multiple opportunities to get his life on track,” she continued. “I will never give up on him and I will continue to serve him.”

Lauren added: “As an adult and a father, Tyler will be responsible for his actions and should be held accountable for bad decisions like any other citizen.”
this Independent release Taylor reached a deal and pleaded guilty to one offence of attempted identity theft, part of a plea agreement, according to an October report. The remaining charges were dismissed.
Weeks after Taylor’s arrest, his father Lauren’s ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, was arrested after allegedly publicly arguing about his ex-husband.
Jayson, 43, was arrested in January on suspicion of misdemeanor and criminal mischief, according to Garfield County records viewed by CBS News. He was released from the county jail the same day he was arrested.
After Jason claimed he was a victim of domestic violence, the Northwest Colorado Silt Police Department confirmed to people that it had launched an investigation claiming his ex-wife “fisted” his face several times in a restaurant.
In addition to Tyler, the representative also shared with Jayson three other sons, namely Brody, Kaydon and Roman.

Lauren filed for divorce from Jayson last spring on the grounds of irreconcilable differences, after 2021-January 2025 as Colorado’s third congressional district.
She ran for Connes, the fourth Congressional District of Colorado in the 2024 election and won the victory.
