BBC cuts contact with Masterchef host Gregg Wallace after sexual misconduct report

The BBC said on Monday that it will no longer be with MasterChef Host Gregg Wallace found in a report that dozens of allegations of misconduct against hosts of popular cooking shows were maintained.
The report, led by a law firm, said 45 of his 83 charges against Wallace were confirmed during the show from 2005 to 2018. It says most claims related to “inappropriate sexual language and humor” are an unwelcome physical contact incident.
Wallace, 60, broke away from the popular BBC reality show hosted by a popular BBC reality show produced by an independent production company, and conducted an investigation into the allegations of multiple women that had made inappropriate sexual comments and performed inappropriately in 17 years.
The BBC has dealt with allegations of sexual misconduct and how Wallace continues to be under pressure on some of the most popular shows in such a long time.
Broadcasting Corporation issued an apology statement and added Wallace’s “return” MasterChef It’s untenable. ”
“The BBC has informed Mr. Wallace that we have no plans to work with him in the future,” it said. “Although the full scope of these issues is not clear at relevant times, there is still a lack of opportunity to resolve this behavior, with existing production companies MasterChef and the BBC. ”
The broadcaster had previously said Wallace was warned by his employer after a complaint in 2018, when an internal investigation at the time found his behavior “unacceptable and unprofessional.”
The latest investigation found that for staff there was little or no clear training or clear upgrade procedures—many people who performed the show were freelancers— leading to insufficient reporting and standardization of misconduct.
Wallace strongly denied these claims. In December, he claimed that his behavior complaints came from “a minority of middle-class women of a certain age”, but he rebounded angrily.
“I won’t go quietly,” he said in a statement posted on his Instagram account last week.
