Welcome to Wrexham In this week’s episode, there’s a very special guest in the locker room – he brings these signatures Magic Mike move.
Channing Tatum Accompaniment Ryan Reynolds On Thursday, May 29, an episode of the FX documentary, Wrexham AFC Football Game (Welsh Football Game).
“I just did my usual routine game, Ryan walked in and he brought another friend,” Wrexham midfielder Elliot Lee recall. “From a minute, it’s like we’re just kidding, like he’s one of the guys [we were] joke. ”
The athlete played Ginuwine’s “Pony”, a song Tatum was famous in 2012 Magic Mike – When the actor walks into the locker room. Tatum is a great sport and start dancing this song, which is a treat for all players.
“He’ll drink you under the table” when Tatum walked in the room. “I wasn’t even kidding,” Reynolds added.
Lee noted that being in the locker room with stars like Tatum is “different” from other teams. “It’s just part of Wrexham,” he added.
Tatum competed with Reynolds after meeting with the players. Even if Wrexham tied for Cambridge United, Tatum still had a chance to go out with the boys.
“Ryan planned to leave directly after the Cambridge game, but we heard Channing had a commercial with us on Monday, so we knew he lived in town,” Lee said. “Obviously, that night, it was my 30th birthday party and we took the opportunity to invite Channing to the carnival.”
Lee laughed at it as a “good night”, but did not provide any specific details. He did say it would “live long in memory.”
Tatum and Wrexham filmed the Super Bowl Lix commercial for StōkCold Brew. (The coffee brand is a sponsor of the Wrexham team.)
In the ad, Tatum teaches football teams how to use Cold Brew for a better “celebration dance”. By the end of the ad, everyone was dancing on the 1990 hit “Goans Mave You Aweat” by the C+C Music Factory.
“Channing Tatum is actually magical, though,” Reynolds poured out in his confession. “Back in 2006 – about 20 years ago – he danced in movies. He was 26 years old and people were like, ‘This kid could dance.’ So he made more movies, including a couple about some kind of magic Mike, maybe you’ve heard of them?”

Reynolds continued: “Now, he’s almost 45 years old. I mean, [the dancing is] He has no wires and no CGI. Just made entirely of magic. He has no bones, no bones! Talk about continuous construction. You can’t dance like you in your 40s. ”
Reynolds also provides some insight into the mysterious nights of Tatum and Wrexham players.
“I’m going to read to me on a problem night,” Reynolds said.
“Oops! I probably had a lot of fun with the boys. We’re definitely looser than I planned. This happened, sorry,” Tatum obviously wrote in several text messages. “It will definitely be on the internet.”
Reynolds concluded: “Magic Mike.”
