Channing Tatum apologizes to Ryan Reynolds after Wrexham night

“Ryan planned to leave directly after the Cambridge game, but we heard Channing had a commercial with us on Monday, so we knew he lived in town,” Lee said. “Obviously, that night, it was my 30th birthday party and we took the opportunity to invite Channing to the carnival.”

Lee laughed at it as a “good night”, but did not provide any specific details. He did say it would “live long in memory.”

Tatum and Wrexham filmed the Super Bowl Lix commercial for StōkCold Brew. (The coffee brand is a sponsor of the Wrexham team.)

In the ad, Tatum teaches football teams how to use Cold Brew for a better “celebration dance”. By the end of the ad, everyone was dancing on the 1990 hit “Goans Mave You Aweat” by the C+C Music Factory.

“Channing Tatum is actually magical, though,” Reynolds poured out in his confession. “Back in 2006 – about 20 years ago – he danced in movies. He was 26 years old and people were like, ‘This kid could dance.’ So he made more movies, including a couple about some kind of magic Mike, maybe you’ve heard of them?”
