Working on Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0
CM confirmed that work in the second phase of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini program was “rapidly developed”.
The State-owned Program is a special initiative aimed at providing farmers with daylight solar energy.
“As we increasingly value renewable energy in our power purchase agreements, future procurement cost savings will help maintain affordable tariffs,” CM wrote.
Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (also known as MSKVY 2.0) is an upgraded version of the national government’s flagship solar energy program for agriculture.
The plan aims to achieve 30% of agricultural feeders by December. The plan is designed to ensure that farmers are provided with daytime power supplies, thereby reducing reliance on subsidized grids or diesel pumps.
