MLB News: Ronald Acuña Jr convenes double standards

Outfielder Jarred Kelenic was jogged to first base after he thought it would be a tough ball to go home run. However, the ball hit the wall instead of crossing it, and Kelenic tried to sprint to second base instead of staying at the beginning.
It was an unwise decision as he was abandoned by the Minnesota twins after replaying the comments.

Now, Genenik’s mistake on the abutment hasn’t stopped the Brave from defeating the twins on Saturday 4-3.
But when he approached the ball, he decided to reach out the batsman through a decision called on social media. If he didn't do that, he's likely safe on second base, rather than returning to the canoe.

However, Snitker has no AA issues with Kelenic.
“Should I?” Snitker said when asked if he talked to Kelenic about the post-game match.
While Snitker didn't see the problem, Acuña seemed to be the other idea.

Acuña responded to MLB.com reporter Mark Bowman's X post about Snitker's comment about Kelenic and was obviously ticked.
“If it were me, they would take me away.”
Acuña has a history of this situation.
Snitker was unfortunate for him on the base in 2019, when he did the same thing as Kelenic. However, Acuña decided to stay at first base after realizing that the ball wasn't out as he hoped.

“He didn’t run,” Snitker said at the time via ESPN. “You have to run. This is unacceptable.”
So it is understandable why Acuña is upset about Snitker's treatment for Kelenic.
