Weekly Gear News: Amazon Buys Bee, VSCO has a new app, CMF makes its smartwatch debut

This is not everything new. The company has also added a feature called Remix, which allows you to convert existing photos into art styles such as anime, manga, and 3D animation (remember Prisma?). It will be launched in the next few weeks. All of these effects and features may feel a little bit, especially given all the other tools you can use in the app, which is why Google also has the new Create Tab. Here you can convert photos to videos, use mixes, create collages, highlight videos, and more. The tag will be launched in August.
Facer re-wears OS 6
Google’s Wear OS 6 update is launching this week – it’s the latest version of the smartwatch operating system, introducing a more colorful interface, more considerable widgets, and increased power efficiency for improved battery life. Facer is one of the oldest hand surface apps, with hundreds of themed surface designs on various platforms, announcing updates that add compatibility with Wear OS 6. This is big news, considering that the app loses compatibility after wearing OS 5 in 2024.
When wearing the operating system 5, Facer does not support Google’s hand surface format (WFF), which is a necessary condition for accessing hand surface complications. The company had to work with Google to restore full functionality of the hand surface to 6 years old, and even said Facer will “significantly improve battery life” on all faces.
The Facer update also adds new collaborations, such as the SpongeBob Squarepant Watch Face, and a social component called “Look.” This is a tag in the app that allows you to show off your favorite hand surface. Think of it as a new way to discover hand surfaces outside of the app’s general exploration page. If you like the look, you can find out the face of the hand they use and download it, and if you like their watch strap, Facer will point to your own belt store so you can deduct it.
VSCO launches a new application called Capture
Photo Filters and Editing Application VSCO (Yes only Ten years later, a standalone mobile application was launched. Capture is an iPhone-only camera app with over 50 “utilitarian presets” with real-time film effects and manual camera settings for better control of the final image. Essentially, it allows you to preview the final look of your photo before reaching the shutter button.
These presets are lossless, so if you decide to change the content, you can still edit the original captured image later. It supports RAW and PRORAW formats, has real-time effects, such as Bloom, and can be synchronized immediately with the VSCO application for additional editing or sharing. It can be downloaded for free right now and there is no message if Android apps will be available in the future.
